Following the start of Siân's course in Animal Bone Archaeology we went hunting for finds. Our search was ultimately fruitless (except for one large horseshoe) but I'm inclined to think a bracing walk through the Warwickshire countryside followed by a plate of cheesy chips at the Old Lion in Harborough Magna was still a pleasant way to spend Sunday afternoon.
