Mashimaro is a pioneer in internet flash animation - the series is started by Kim Jae In in 2000 and has became a popular hit on internet forums. Mashimaro stands as the opposite personality to most other popular cartoon characters of the day such as Hello Kitty. He is mean, vulgar, mischievious, and undisciplined. [His name comes from word 'marshmallow' being promounced wrong in Korean]
